Nelly and Francoise took off to look at some local villages and I stuck around to take care of email and whip a Web page or two. It wasn't long before they came back and then Alain came home from work, for lunch where we had:

We said our goodbye's as he headed off to work. He has a pharmacy and someone that morning had come in with a prescription for an eye drop they needed to be filled and that he had to administer… to their pet python. I guess that makes for a job that's not too boring but he takes it all in stride.
His English is great so if you or your pet snake are in Provence and need something, he's the man to call. >>
