Day 33

Why is it called the Petit Jesus? Because in it's original form, before cutting and with a delicate white coating it's about the size of a newborn baby in swaddling clothes.

My God, this one sausage might have more cups than Mario Andretti. Since 1985 it's gotten a low of 1 medal per year up to 8.

Don't get me wrong, I want to taste this rare jewel but I also want to enjoy a sublime slice or two for a picnic lunch while we're driving through Provence.

We found the shop, talked to the nice lady behind the counter, bought a 1/2 kilo and hit the road to Lyon to visit an old friend of the family, Madame Dalmay.
