The TGV is a true pleasure, typically running at 300 km/h, or 186 mph. The Paris to Lyon run is the busiest in all of France and maybe the world, so they simply created a double decker or Duplex that can whisk 545 passengers to either city in just 2 hours.

The only thing worth ordering in the Bar Car is the espresso which they make a little differently from a few years ago. Now they open a filter packet and make it for you instead of you making it for yourself in the seating area. >>
