Day 27: 79F/26C predicted    

   Today we visited Parc de Bagatelle, a huge garden with amazing displays, flowers, trees and large expanses of lawn.
   There's a large rose garden to enjoy and quite a large display of irises. Why not take a short iris tour?

   The birds were singing and in the heat of spring, with the different fragrances wafting through the air, it was almost overcoming at times.

Metro : Porte Maillot
Bus : 244 and 43
  Several ponds, an orangery and a pink "house" dating from 1720 that was built in only 100 days.

  There's a 10 F entrance fee and a separate fee of 28 F for an exhibit about ceramics and flowers from the Ottoman Empire which we passed up. >>
