Day 18: 70F/21C predicted

Today I want to introduce you something I'll call: French Laundry Theory.

It's not hard to find a laundromat or "Lavomatique" because above those endless rows of shops you see at street level, are apartments.
Laundromats are easy to find

There's millions of people living in Paris and unlike the high rent districts, they don't all have washing machines at home.
Prices vary but generally it starts at 6 or 7 kilos of clothes for 11 to 12 Francs. Soap is available for a few more Francs.

Just wander off any main thoroughfare, down a side street and you'll probably find one right away with the prices in large letters on the windows.
Next comes the time factor. With a modern machine, plan for at least 30-40 minutes. If you're using an older machine it could be as long as 1 hour and 40 minutes.
