We took a bus to Jardin de Belleville, the highest point of view for a garden in Paris, it's 8 metres taller than Montmartre. We made some sandwiches at home and had a great little picnic in the sun, looking at the Eiffel Tower.

Then it was off to Monoprix for some food, shaving cream, Nivea lotion, a double pack of coffee and a prepared Beef Bourguignon I wanted to try.

Nelly was going to visit some friends and stay for dinner so I had a chance to try out the newer packaged foods that you find in all the stores now.
