Dinner was great, starting with a fresh sausage that we might compare to salami. Thinly sliced, it's called saucisson, with tiny pickles, "cornichon" to follow it. |

Next there was more smoked salmon with lemon and fresh bread, then the main course followed by yogurt or store bought chocolate mousse. |

It was almost 1:30 by the time we left and driving along the Seine I had my first chance to see the Millenium countdown clock on the Eiffel Tower. I have to say it's was much larger then I'd ever imagined. >> |
