Since a pair of eyeglasses in France can easily run $500-600 it can be a little amusing when you see two French people who happen to both wear glasses kissing each other goodbye.
One, and sometimes both whip their glasses off, dash off a few air kisses and since complete optical destruction was avoided, they then saunter out the door.
